200 Mio $ Contract around the corner ?

From Stockguru42:

I just want to say that I find it interesting that everyone on these boards talks little about the issues on this stock. If you talk to the company, you'll learn just how positive things have been going. For example, there is currently a $200 million project in the Puget Sound area up in Washington from the RBOC there. This project was offered to IFCI. All of it. Not just part of it, all of it. There really isn't anyone else qualified to do the work AT ALL. IFCI has so far NOT accepted this contract because there are certain restrictions placed on the contract that require that they not use certain companies to outsource and subcontract. Based on the availability of qualified people to do the job in the NW region (especially outside of the people that IFCI CANNOT hire), IFCI is currently waiting on this contract. However, they are looking to acquire companies in the region that would give them the employees to take this contract. In other words, since there really isn't any danger of someone else taking this contract (someone already tried to take part of it and was declined), it is basically set aside until someone comes along that can do the work, and IFCI is really the only company that I can think of that could be ready anytime soon. I think it was barn_burner_too who mentioned that acquisitions were being looked at in the Northwest. If anyone would CALL the company, they would find all of this to be true. While I am sure that earnings will be nice tomorrow, I think that it is LIKELY that a lot of the excitement that we have seen in the last few days is about the fact that IFCI is SOOOOOO close to accepting this big contract, which is far bigger than most people on this board were hoping for in a "big" contract. Earnings will likely come in around expectations, maybe even a little better. If the company did their $0.12 in core business, they will do a little better because of the acquisitions, but they have around $0.02 in charges related to the acquisitions. Also, the first two quarters should be upgraded and restated. That means that if they beat $0.12, then they REALLY beat $0.12 because they have $0.02 in charges. THIS WILL BE VERY NICE, but I think that it is the events in the Pacific Northwest that could be driving this stock, and NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT IT. This isn't really a secret, just call the company. I don't really get the impression that the company is having ANY problems meeting their expectations. But I do KNOW that they are working to get HUGE projects such as the Puget Sound region.
