Gottfried and Teri, Jan's picks
for the first week of October and how they performed?
She chose
Valueline 1s and 2s and PnF signals to make sure the
DOW wouldn't
drop further.

Yes. However, AMAT was not on the list. My NAIC Club uses the Valueline data for our fundamental analysis. When we have compared the projections of Valueline with the actual results Valueline price gains for AMAT especially was behind what the company actually produced and laged the upturn when a 1 or 2. An example was amat in 1996 wehn valueline had them list with a top 3-5 year high of approx. $60 but it hit $108 within 9-12 months. We had the same results with a drug stock as well. But using its data with the NAIC's FA and DW TA analysis is great. Added to this data our online discussions helps out alot. Our online data allows each of us small investors to combine our efforts in research. Then, each of us have to make our own decisions based on our interpretation of the data and our risk tolerance. My tolerance according to my wife may be a little higher than others.<gg> But, as I explain to her, if you buy low then you remove alot of the risk. Now, all I have to do this time is not to get to greedy and listen to Teri. Right, Teri?<gg> And, forget about the amount I will have to pay to the IRS.

Just my opinion.
