Hi Chief,

It is registered as a holding company.

I have one that has the assets from a retail computer business that we owned. I have short term traded in the holding company without problems, while we pay the assets out as dividends and salary over several years.

It is not as good as it sounds, because of the double taxation (company and personal). Unless the money can be taken out when you have little other personal income, RC is laughing all the way to the bank.

It does let you invest with more money as long as it stays in the company, as long as you qualify for the low small business rate and would otherwise be taxed at a high personal rate.

:-))
