''new supercomputer breakthrough.''
SGI has been putting out press releases about their products' performance forever. Since when has anyone in the investment community cared?

Conference on CNBC this afternoon supposedly about the new supercomputer. Another announcement perhaps?

Someone made a comment about Jeff Maresh taking his credit. I think Jeff felt he screwed up in SGI. His time horizon has long since passed. I'm sure he'd agree with me. In the unlikely event SGI does regain some faint resemblance to a successful company, give credit to people like Eli, Alexis, dd, and especially Jim Davison. These folks are hard core.

Wonder if this is what all that Nov call options activity was about? I sure hope not, as it doesn't look like it was received all that well today (SGI down 3/8). Maybe one of those buy on rumor, sell on news deals...
