Gates Derides Intel:

''Intel was wasting its money by writing low-quality software that created incompatibilities for users,'' Gates said in videotaped testimony shown yesterday during Microsoft's antitrust
trial. ''And those negative experiences weren't helpful for any goal that Intel had.''

Wow, if Microsoft thinks the quality of Intel's software sucks, it must REALLY suck!

Kevin - re: "you started hyping Dixon last summer.
WHERE IS IT? Does Intel have a MANUFACTURING PROBLEM?"

Very good point.

Except INTEL NEVER PREDICTED THAT THEY WERE WORKING ON A DIXON AND NEVER PREDICTED A SHIP DATE !

AMD committed over a year ago to ship Sharpy in the second half of 1998.

I suspect that Dixon will beat the Sharpy to market !
