As a longtime reader of the allegedly liberal NYT, I'd say the "liberal bias" argument is quite tiresome. The operative definition always seems to be people you disagree with are biased, and people you agree with are objective. You'll never find anything negative in any of the conservative press about conservatives, except maybe that they're being too pragmatic on some issue. The "liberal" NYT dumped on Clinton as much as anybody.

Of course, the definition "biased" : people you disagree with is somewhat less offensive than the popular "idiots": people you disagree with. All part of the long running substantial debate here, though.
