Low prices stocks vs. hi-price ..Figure you buy 1,000 shares of BKE 20 up 7, 1000 shares of FOSL 20 up 5, and 1,000 shares of CLFY up 2... and 1,000 shares of STRX +3 and then another 1,000 GNSSF up 4.. all this costs about 100k...you can make 20k.. or you can buy 1,000 of a blue chip companies like GE for 90k and make 1.5k or 1,000 shares of XRX at 102k and make 600 bucks or (shudder) buy 1,000 shares of AXP at 93k and lose 1.7k.. Of course this comparison is not fair, I know that. But for traders who don't hold more than a week or two this scenario is the facts for them
