This latest Bateh pure-Hype post is almost too much to take. He is predicts an almost $3000 computer package that includes a Zip as selling "tons and tons."

Not to mention a little important fact that this particular Zip drive Iomega is selling at a loss, but that's beside the point.

This sample configuration ships with a 12.9 Gigabyte hard drive and a 56k modem. Oh yeah-- that Zip drive will be used extensively- not. That's 12.9 GIGABYTES of hard drive space.

Yet another rarely (if ever) used built-in Zip drive. And selling at a loss to boot. Is there any plus side here? Yeah, I guess...for the Shorts.
