In case you haven't figured it out yet, Gary while being a semi-Ascend bull is a full-time Cisco employee! Therefore, his rational and reasoning in the two stocks can be hard to sort at times

I asked Gary several months ago if John Chambers minded if he posted on company time and he got a little testy with me. With that being said I think he has Chambers' blessing to post here. For the most part, Gary gives an accurate summary of the Ascend - Cisco competition. But he always stops short when the discussion gets to the point in a technological area where Ascend leads Cisco. Here he always quotes the party line.

Agreed, my investment in ASND is far less than my investment in Csco. If you go back through my posts you'll see that my comments have suggested a balance and have been in response to chest pounding...nothing more.

Finally Michael, I have not hyped cisco and have certainly not hyped it on every telecom thread here on SI. Get a life.
