Amazing. Less than a year ago, this was the big lawsuit Netscape had against Microsoft: Preloading sites, software, ads, etc. as part of the install. How things change. I still think the current suit by the Feds is totally bogus. I like MSFT just for the manner in which they treat their opposition (i.e., the enemy): bury them. That is the way of business and if you can't compete, then find another avenue to sell your wares. By the way, I have noticed that a number of the software packages I have installed lately (the most recent is SoftQuad HotMetal) change your browser default to go to their site. I do not expecially like this, especially when I have preset my browser to SI and to my portfolio. Not a big deal, but not very courteous, either.
