He's very good at blaming other countries for their speculative excesses while enabling and turning a blind eye to our own. He also conveniently forgets that it was a lot of our capital that fed those excesses in other countries -- it wasn't so much the lack of control over there -- it was the lack of DD over here. Sure there's cronyism and problems in Asia, but it didn't help matters that we had a bunch of yahoos over here that didn't know what they were doing. His suggestions of more banking control and oversight is a joke. Who's watching our banks? What gives us the right to tell these other countries how to run their banks? Downright silly speech.
