Ramsey...With our luck the spin'll be all positive for MSFT, how they're entering new markets, moving to attack Symbian, and negative for Q, Q was chosen as a last resort as Tero and others have said, they don't have the resources to take advantage of this MSFT leverage,CE sucks etc.

It's become clear that this "Scrappy Behemoth" is really fighting a tremendous coalition of entrenched interests, some of which reside on Wall St. It's going to take a lot to move analysts out of the Nokia, Ericy camp. They've been well rewarded over there and risk their relationships I presume by crossing the line. Q will need a new crop of backers. Hopefully this JV'll help.

But...if the press conference goes well, and real money wants the stock, there's not going to be much for sale IMO. There's been very little real money accumulation since earnings, almost all trades small potatoes. short interest about 5 mil according to Daily Graphs.

What we definitely should expect is some of that good ole Q volatility.
