All these negative talks and the trial have not affected the stock prices of INTL or MSFT in particular. In fact, MSFT is up substantially since the trial and inching toward all time high and INTL is setting new high in stock price. IMO, investors are now used to any negative news from trial and focus in long term.

Intel had long trying to get into the OS business. By dominating both the CPU and OS business, Intel will have the world of PCs. So, it started to use its power of monopoly in the CPU market to extend its OS business, that what is happening.
Lots of examples showed that Intel just used its monopoly power in CPU to expend
its business in other market, think of the Modem from three coms, the integration of audio/video functions , which will kill all the chip companies whose major business is audio/video chips...etc.
