Dear JDN; Believe it or not GOOD software, to completely integrate the factory with the front office etc., has been available on unix systems for over 10 years. The problem then, and probably now, is the complexity of the solution eliminates most of the clients who would use it. A fully integrated factory environment is a VERY COMPLEX operation requiring outstanding people and major commitment from every person. If TAVA could figure out a way to simplify the user's life in this environment and make integration a reality rather than just a wish, they could RULE. This last announcement just might break down the price resistance. I feel like it is huge.
