A change of subject but for techies who read this thread and occasionally invest in high tech stocks I recommend Michael Murphy's "Every Investor's Guide to High-Tech Stocks and Mutual Funds". The book presents a lot of interesting ways of thinking about the high tech sector that I had never thought about before. I doubt if any body will get rich reading the book and the first chapter didn't quite ring true but all in all a thought provoking and satisfying book.

Howard I suggest you try the following URL for information on Adaptec's SCSI motherboard solutions. Thanks..Howard...bullseye.... and Zeuspaul... this SCSI controller on the Aopen AX6B Plus mother board does feature boot target ID. It also has the suspend-to-disk feature allowing your exact screen and software config to be reopened upon restart.pretty neat, eh? >snip Boot Manager Lets user specify the boot device by both Target ID and LUN in multi-device configurations.
