Bezos on CNBC today

Glenn,

I'm still awake!

Just in case you missed it, which I doubt, Mr B will be appearing on CNBC later today. I did not catch the time.

With this frenzy going on, he can only move the stock higher, don't you think?

Robert

Glenn:

Very interesting.

They did say that the marketing budget INCLUDES fulfillment fees, such as credit card fees and the costs of fulfillment employees salaries.

However, that does not mean that the marketing budget is comprised solely of these items. (For example, these items might comprise only 10 or 20 percent of the marketing budget.)

I find it strange that Amazon would place ANY fulfillment (other than credit card) charges into sales and marketing. Why they choose to do so concerns me.
