Firms agree to settle U.S. FCC
bid-rigging suits

WASHINGTON, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Omnipoint Corp (Nasdaq:OMPT - news) and two other
wireless communications firms have agreed to settle lawsuits alleging they used coded bids during
airwaves auctions held by the federal government for wireless telephone licenses, the U.S. Justice
Department said on Tuesday.

The department's antitrust division said the lawsuits and the proposed settlement, which must be
approved by a federal judge, were filed in court in Washington, D.C.
