Roger,

The problem with those bubbles is that you can only see the top in hindsight.

The good ones enjoy a nice bounce after the initial pop, and that's the time to short.

Roger...

>>In my opinion, YHOO and some others are now making "ZITL tops" combined with short squeeze. <<

I felt the same way so I shorted KTEL two days ago. Bingo, up it has gone by 79% as we speak today (>8pts) with their MSFT announcement. Links to a portal site sure make a difference in today's world. Will it increase their profits? Who knows. Who cares. It is the hits that count today.

I guess I will never learn, never short the Internuts. I will stay short for awhile on this one and hope that good ZITL keeps bailing me out. I think however it may take longer than I can stand it for reality to set in. Should have listened to Bill Wexler!

Good luck to you on your YHOO short and as long as you can hold on, my guess is that you will be rewarded.

Bob T.

Roger,

I have a feeling that the market might see a near term top here. This is even worse as compared to the top we saw 4 months ago. This rally does not make sense in which even the crappy issues are rallying on pure speculation. When buying mania is spread around like this, and valuations is totally thrown out of the windows, and all the shorts are killed so mainly the longs are the ones that are feeding the rally, it has to be a top.

I have a huge long position in DELL, yet I might consider shorting against my box at 75-80. The valuation is so extreme that it's scaring a diehard DELL bull like me away.
