Most of the Republicans seem to be in the throes of a death wish. They should realize that if they carry this into the first half of 1999, they might well end up losing the House in the next election.

If they drag it along to the second half of 1999, they are likely to lose the House and the Presidency. And if they stretch it out into the year 2000, they are likely to lose it all. The way they are headed now, it looks like they want to lose everything.
