matt,

>>I think we may see the topping in the market this week with Dell's earnings report being solid and the smart $$$ "selling on news"
imo.<<

this very well may be the case, but I thought the same thing
with CSCO, and we still kept going up more than I thought. AND
now MSFT is coming out of nowhere. MSFT is what really puzzles
me since the court case doesn't look good. Possibly, investors
are thinking that even if MSFT looses, and has to settle, what
the heck can the DOJ do anyway? I think MSFT may be in a no-lose
situation.

Anyways, if DELL tops out, I think it will be more to do because
of Greenspan worries, other wise, just think about it. MSFT -
greeaaat quarter. CSCO - greaaaat quarter, DELL - greaaat
quarter, INTC - ok quarter, but now predictions are for solid
growth. What more would an investor want out of techs? Not
to mention the "Internuts" are doing well. The Naz deserves
to go up, IMO.

COMS will eventually get it's rewards, because it too will have
improved earnings.

>>I am confident COMS will reward those who stay patient and don't make a rash decision in either direction.<<

True, market jitteriness is giving folks time to buy, IMO. But
everyday is a new story. Friday will be a very interesting day,
after DELL report. The spinmasters will be on display for us.

matt,

Naz-100 is up 17 pts (+1.18%). It's starting to
get up there.

Another difficulty with the market is that the market
is sensitive to any "news". COMS could have an
'ace' up it's sleeve. Greenspan could come out and
say something positive. Germany might cut rates... The
point is ANYTHING can happen, and there is good chance of
upside news potential. Too much bad news has already been
dished out the last 3 months.

Why isn't the Naz down 50pts today? Isn't it about time
YET???

Why doesn't the DOW crash 200pts? Isn't it about time yet??

I guess it needs more time...in the mean time, a lot of
stuff keeps going up.

I think the difference is this. You guys are all waiting
for a BIG pullback so you can do what...BUY!!! Everybody
is thinking this. Real pullbacks are caused by lot of
fear, and everybody wants to sell...NOT BUY. Not enough
fear on this thread yet...just a lot of hungry
buzzards.<gg>
