I'm saying that giving him a drug that was a no no on his chart and leaving him in a room while he was having a cardiac episode isn't normal routine. Yes, there could have been some pressure put on the prison system from higher up.

And no, you wouldn't be engaging in innuendo, right? The problem wasn't that they gave him drugs not on his chart, the problem was they threw him in solitary because he couldn't pee for a stupid drug test, and they didn't let him take his medication with him. Pressure from higher ups was more likely to come from Starr than Clinton, if we're to judge from Susan McDougal's treatment. Aside from which, what ever happened to this "tell all" book? That was about to come out? How did he write it in prison while keeping it a complete secret from the ever inquisitive Starr? If it was "about to come out", there must have been copies of it all over the place. What became of it? Enquiring minds want to know!

Cheers, Dan.

There is a very simple reason why McDougal and other people are dying -- passage of time. Starr has been indulging in his wild-goose chases for so long that by the time he finishes his witch-hunting, if at all he ever does, even our children wouldn't be around to read about it! Perhaps our grand-children will have to ask our great grandchildren to read the newspaper articles about Starr's "findings of the day" aloud to them because of their failing eyesight!
