Rubin singing a different tune after the elections?

If the bailout is the only positive, there are no positives.

I don't know if I'm right or not, but it looks to me like 1999 is going to be a very bad year. I'd like to be wrong, but I can see little in the way of positive news. I think we may already be seeing the start with markets weakening everywhere but the US and the yen back above 120. I think the next 'correction' may be more severe than the last one and last longer. The last one didn't go as deep as I expected and the turn around isn't based on positive news. Look out if Brazil does a Russian collapse.
