FYI...E*Trade now offers DRIP enrollment in the Dow 30 stocks. The service is free and all reinvestments are at no cost. Good to see E*Trade improving yet again. Hopefully they will add DRIP enrollment for all companies that have them in the future.

Are you sure about this? I couldn't find the info anywhere on their website, and got the following response back from Customer Service:


At this time, E*TRADE does not offer dividend reinvestment. Dividends
are posted to your account as cash. To participate in a company's
Dividend Reinvestment Program (DRIP), you may contact the company for
their requirements. You may be required to have a certificate issued
in your name. The cost to issue a certificate from your E*TRADE
account is $5.00.
