Steve, Thanks for your reply....... Often these types of articles are thrown out to draw attention to some magazine or newsletter or web site trying to sell itself. Sensational and as you say drawn from data and not attached to any foundational understanding of the events. So...if they turn out correct the subscribers pour in for a year and the editorial writers can say I told you so... If they miss-it, you just forget about it. The Brazilian default potential is certainly significant and I agree with you that the international community has a very good opportunity here to thwart the underlying problems before Brazil needs to publically default. However....from what I've read Brazil needs a lot of Help. The situation needs to be watched carefully. I hope it works out. Thanks Chip
