EBAY sympathy plays-

EBAY's stunning rise this AM, as high as +33 at 136, has traders scrambling in search of another internet auction stock.
Some have already found Creative Computer MALL trading 11s, ONSL trading 21s and EGGS trading 14s. All 3 run daily
online auctions though ONSL is the only one that features the same person to person format that has rocketed EBAY.

But a couple small caps -as yet undiscovered -offer an interesting twist on the person to person auction format. International
Barter IBCX and Itex Corp. ITEX offer person to person auctions that use barter in addition to cash.

Both of these internet companies are small, not yet profitable and for speculators only. That said -if the market makes the
connection to EBAY's format they could move up in a hurry. Essentially both are small cap versions of EBAY with a barter
twist.

IBCX trading low 1s -float 1.3m and buying back shares seems the stronger of the two. IBCX runs a person to person auction
site called Ubarter.com and has keyword deals with Yahoo.Netscape,Infoseek,Excite and Lycos among others.

"July 28, 1998UBARTER.COM SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH YAHOO! AND GOTO.COM

now secured the same arrangement Netscape Netcenter, Webcrawler, Lycos, Infoseek, Alta Vista, LookSmart and Northern
Light."

ITEX trading just under 2- float 5.9M -also runs a person to person auction using barter in addition to cash but will need
heavy volume to move.
