Qualcomm has finally delivered a CDMA/analogue Q-Phone to AirTouch. This Q-Phone is much smaller than the Sprint Q-phones. This Q-phone is about the same size as a Motorola Startac but 50% thicker and twice as heavy. Over-all the new Q-phone is about as easy to use as the Startac. Its heavier and thicker, but no antennae sticking out.

This gives Qualcomm approximately a six month monopoly before the Motorola CDMA/analogue Startac is available. I bought the Q-Phone kit for $299 ($499 minus a $200 rebate). When the Startac comes out I may once again get a new phone. Boy was that a loooong time to market!!
