Dennis & Julius -- Thanks for your kind regards. I miss publishing the newsletter also, but without a substantial subscriber base 70-80 hours of work a week without a profit just didn't make sense any more. Of course, I have been spending a significantly greater amount of time studying Select Fund investing strategies, which have enabled my managed accounts to post a 37% year to date gain. This week on Wall Street has turned out just about as expected so far as I may have noted in a previous post. The airlines and transports continued to slide, as did the energy sectors after exhibiting a distinct topping pattern. Air Transportation generated a Sell yesterday, producing a gain of 22.4% from its last Buy on October 12th. Transportation also fell into Sell territory for a 16.4% gain since it Oct. 14th Buy signal. Energy Services actually fell into Sell territory during the day yesterday, but even a sale today would result in about a 15.4% gain since its last Buy on Oct. 15th. Gold and Precious Metals, if I had actually owned them, also would have been sold this morning. Net result would have been approx. 4% gains in each fund since their Oct. 27th Buy signals. Lastly, Environmental Services produced a Sell on Monday, resulting in a 7.7% gain since its Buy on Oct. 20th. Except for the tech sectors, this week has been a bloody bore so far ahead of the Fed meeting. The financials have continued to weaken in the near term, but their momentum ratings have not yet fallen into negative territory or generated a possible sell. Food has strengthened but I wouldn't bother with it at this level, and Leisure and Multimedia have continued to improve relative to the Select Fund family and the market as I anticipated based on their behavior last week. Yes, Julius, you are correct - I stay on top of the market and these fund very, very closely as always, and the numerous revisions I have made to my trading systems have produced the earliest buys, quickest sells, and best results of all the methods I worked on over the past four or five years. Stay well. Bernie
