* Shares of some electronic broker/dealers jumped after it was
announced they invested in a new electronic options exchange, the
International Securities Exchange, or ISE. Shares of E TRADE GROUP
rose nearly 6. KNIGHT/TRIMARK GROUP Inc rallied more than 7%, and
AMERITRADE HOLDING CORP rose 1.4%. The three were among a
consortium of broker/dealers that forked out $80 million to fund
the upstart ISE. The ISE, the first new registered exchange in the
United States in more than 25 years, aims to cut options trading
costs with a new electronic options exchange. (Reuters 02:19 PM ET
