<<EBAY is the future. EBAY and Amazon are the premiere e-commerce internet sites>>

Do you have any reason other than your stock positions to believe this? For example, AMZN has a market cap of Barnes and Noble and Borders combined, but has never shown a profit, has sales significantly lower than either of them, and has nothing other than its brand to prevent competition, something that both B&N and Borders can easily offset through advertising. EBAY is already being subjected to competition from Yahoo/Onsale, and is currently valued at 150 times sales. Just think, if every penny they bring is profit, it will only take 150 years to recover your investment. Even if their sales double for the next two years (very unlikely), it will take 30 or 40 years to recover your investment. Of course, all that nasty spending will eat even further into that recovery period.

Eventually, the internet stock bubble will burst, and it will bring down the godd stocks along with the bad. Although AMZN and EBAY may be good companies, their stocks are overpriced. The market is efficient over the long term. I can wait.

short them.<<

Such strong language, and so smug!
These stocks are great on a trading basis. Shorting blindly is suicide.
