Brazil's IGP-DI inflation index drops 0.03 pct-FGV

SAO PAULO, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Brazil's inflation as measured by the Indice Geral de Precos - Disponibilidade
Interna (IGP-DI) dropped 0.03 percent in October, against a 0.02 percent drop in September, the independent
research institute Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) said on Tuesday.

The IGP-DI index is a compilation of three indices -- the IPA wholesale price index, which dropped 0.19 percent in
the period; the IPC consumer price index, which gained 0.20 percent; and the INCC national index of construction
costs, which advanced 0.01 percent.

The IPA has a 60 percent weighting, the IPC a 30 percent weighting and the INCC 10 percent, the FGV said. The FGV releases the IGP-DI figure once a
month.
