Let us face it. Women do most of the shopping at home, and going to the mall is one of their important activities. We have several computers at home, and I can not get my wife to do shopping through the net. She needs to look at the real products before buying. I think the hype about internet shopping is way overdone. I agree there will be some increase in buying electronics or computer stuff from the net. Many companies are already doing that, and the net companies do not get much cut of the profit. Because these companies are also technology companies, and they know how to do it themselves. Why give somebody else a cut when you can do it yourself easily ? However, most of the day-to-day stuff will never be purchased through the net!
