After market close, GRAHAM FIELD HEALTH PRODUCTS INC reported 3Q EPS loss of ($0.17) vs $0.13 in the prior year, on revenues of $93.8 mln vs $70.7 mln in 1997. Analysts' mean estimates were a loss of ($0.06), according to First Call. NOTE: 1998 3Q EPS includes one-time charges of $3,348,000 associated with the separation arrangement for the former Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Graham-Field. GRAHAM FIELD HEALTH PRODUCTS INC said it will implement short-term cost cutting programs to save the company $20 mln annually. The new measures are expected to be in place by the end of the 3Q of 1999. The company said it plans to return to profitability in late 1999. Graham-Field said it will change its sales and marketing efforts to revitalize its well-established product brands, and change its commission and incentive programs.
