Rationalizations for AAPL's action since earnings.

Let's see ... too much hot money coming in at the low 30's that was going to dump at earnings no matter what; lousy sentiment off the MSFT case (fear of MSFT retribution); reported slow sales on iMac and at least one major institutional holder* with better fish to fry.

*I think the big seller is Grupo Carso - the Mexican conglomerate. They've been a major shareholder of AAPL for some time, but I remember them saying that they had no long term commitment to the position. Their patriarch Carlos Slim has been reported ill this past month and his sons have been taking charge. With AAPL 10-20% off its high, they may have just decided that they saw/see better long term opportunities in decimated South American markets closer to home.

Just speculation on my part. In any case, it's a ferocious amount of volume.
