There was a guy on CNBC this morning that said that their might be an oversupply of chips in the market (assuming a 20% increase in Q4 PC sales- not bad)- even if INTC's sales are growing, someone else's must be slipping, or were are in for another round of price cuts. The same person spoke of 33 million units being produced in Q4 vs. 22-23 million in Q3. With a 20% increase that would make the upper end 28 million units shipped...what happens to the other 5 million units? Inventories...bad because this leads to price erosion. Sales..great but I don't know how likely this is. The revenue/margin is probably a f(x) of product mix and return rates.
