Well , I have been out of GT for some time but would be willing to jump in possibly if it sank below 4 <wink>. As for me, I have cut back on my play time drastically but right now I am involved in Fallout2 with Rainbow 6 on the shelf awaiting its turn. Unreal I liked but multiplayer is a waste of time without a Voodoo2 card IMO. Unfortunately, I don't see much in the GT lineup that I would be interested including Prey (if it is ever released in my lifetime).

I wouldn't be too harsh on the new acquisition just yet. It is a direction that GT will have to go in to survive IMO. What I will be interested in is how they handle GT's product lines in their games section.

At 116 million or so a quarter, it's easy to claim that GT has rev's. That's never really been the problem. Accounting snafus and "higher than expected expenses" have traditionally killed their bottom line. They can go on indefinately with low earnings quarters and still have credit line money to work with. They have proven they are masters at robbing Peter to pay Paul. Until that is resolved it will be more of the same. Just remember this is the same company that wanted to float a bond issue just a few short months ago.
