J4D:
My $.02 =
ONSL. A cheap version of EBAY.
Same type of biz. Perceived as a vehicle to similar profits.

<<<Have no eBay unfortunately but am going to
get into the internet flavor of the month
club soon. I've been missing out on the fun
and profit lately in that sector......
Which ones do you like best and would
you recommend?>>>
My favorite has always been Yhoo, but thats little help to decide
on a good investment as its gotten a bit high.
IMO the winners in the Web games will come from the simplicity
of the pages and the ease of use with minimal distractions
Yhoo seems to have the ease of use but I don't use many others.
I consider the Dell home page a good example of minimal distractions and ease of use.
Pages for airline reservations or low fares stink.
Selling grocery on web ads seems fruitless operation.
AOL has an almost obnoxious and unbeatable agressiveness and determination, so guess that could make them a big winner.
RMBS looks to have a great product with good potential from licensing fees
Since I don't 'follow' many of these, I pay close attention to Gregs picks (mspg) and Venkie(Plcm) although some of those are not web stocks,
It was easy to see a split coming on AOL, so I bought AOL and
Yhoo on the same day as the Aol split was announced,as I believe a Yhoo split is coming soon. Msft likely, also
Sorry to be so vague, its seems the money is going into the
top 20 with some demonstrated capabilities so would stick with
those. Techs are the place to be. If in doubt, buy Dell
