John, the last Intel split was 2 for 1 in July of 1997. INTC was trading at roughly 150. Post split, it pretty much made a straight move up from 75 or so to roughly 102 that August. I'm doing this from memory, without even looking at a chart (too busy to double check right now). Correct me if I'm wrong (Paul), but I am almost positive those are the right numbers.

Doug

John - Re: " Any speculation if and when INTC might split. "

The last stock split, 2-for-1, was ANNOUNCED on January 14, 1997 when the stock closed at $147.50 ($73.75 in today's terms).

We have a long way to go, I assume, before the Board splits this stock again.

Paul
