Scumbria, We also can infer hidden facts based on publicly available information, our past experiences, and our understanding of the industry. We can then use this information to base our investment decisions. That is what Silicon Investor is supposed to be all about. Which we can buy and sell stocks based on, whether or not the information is accurate is besides the point right ;-).. Scumbria, I don't buy or sell on rumour... I buy or sell because I believe in the company (long or short term).. right now I don't hold any AMD, becuase at this price it is too expensive given their earnings history and the lack of a 400Mhz part.. that should tell you something. Steve
