Robert & All: The price drop did not surprise me. I really don't think the average investor has any idea what yesterday's announcement could mean to the future of this company. Here's my take on the recent fluctuations:
People sold on the spike up to a buck, keeping a lid on the rally. There post-announcement was selling today based on the fact that the stock sat stalled in the .90s. There may be selling tomorrow morning out of concern over today's fallback and so it goes - with somebody picking up cheap shares, again. Buyers will also return tomorrow, and if another sell-off is great enough in the morning, heavy buying will occur by the afternoon. If my scenario is correct I will be interested to see whether late buying offsets early losses. It may indicate that somebody(s) been paying attention and playing these predictable bumps like a fiddle.
Regards,
Wally
