with all the sustained release medications out there the once a day versus twice a day is not as important as you would think at first. A fine example is propranolol which AHP markets as inderal and their LA products have a large market in Canada ( and I assume in the USA as well,)in spite of a host of beta blockers with better dosage regimens as the plain drug. I think the strength of the sales force is paramount and with PFE onside MTC has all the bases covered
