Thanks for the post. I bought my copy last night. It would have been nice if the magazine release had coincided with GM releasing the batteries to the EV1 people.

Can someone help me out here and correct me if I am mistaken, but when Ovonic did their 376 miles on one charge, were they using a 1350 mil-ampere battery? The reason I am asking is because, I was talking with someone and they had mentioned to me that Sanyo now has a 1900mah battery (about 50% improvement). So, if they have improved the energy density by about 50%, shouldn't that be about a 50% increase in the range (approx. 550 mile range)?
