I'm only taking a guess, but it looks like the Samsung Yepp seems to use built-in ram instead of removable smart media. Personally, I think the removable smart media feature of the Rio is a better storage method since all you need is an flashpath floppy adapter to copy your MP3 files over to the card for listening. No messy serial cable or new hardware to install, just drop the smart media in the floppy drive and walah, sounds for the day! AND, as smart media prices drop we may see the end of casette tapes! In with the new, out with the old.
