Man! I think I just found one of the underlying factors in the Brinker timing model revealed in the National Post, dated November 10, 1998. (The Post is a Canadian national newspaper of high repute.) Page A17: "Dateline New York. THE STRIPPER DOW CONNECTION. In late July, Mayor Rudolf Giuliani began shutting strip clubs and over the next month the Dow Jones industrial average plunged 1,500 points. In September, a court ruling gave some clubs a partial reprieve, whereupon the market began to recover. Last Wednesday, a strip club won another round in court, and the Dow surged 250 points the rest of the week." I guess the bare naked ladies passed the bear market lads and ladies going in opposite directions on Wall Street. Ciao, David Todtman

Don: Are you really surprised by the Bug's reappearance? I doubt it. He loves that "monkey with a buy button" line. He needs to get new clown material. Here is one of my favorite Bug pronouncements: Message 5695367 But I feel sorry for him ; ). He seems to have only one eye ; ). No wonder he can't see where he is going ; ). But he thinks people take him seriously ; ). Or maybe he winks because he thinks he knows something ; ). His posts show otherwise ; ). Let's see. I bet you I can pull a silly Bug post out every time he appears on the other thread. Just tell me when you need to see one for some entertainment value. I have dozens.
