PX,
<<Your vision a bit like the concept of the NC>>

Ah, PX I don't have a vision. I have a large problem in search of a solution.
The problem is complexity.
What percentage of the population is able to intelligently discuss things like bandwidth bottlenecks, motherboard attributes, areal densities, ad infinitum? In other words, Just how many PX's are out there?
Precious few I dare say. If the installed base of PCs expands without significantly reducing the level of complexity, you and your little band of equals is going to be stretched very thin.

A netcentric or (yes, it is a dirty word) modified NC style system attempts to solve many of the complexity issues. The capability is a ways off, though.

I've got to get back to work,

Yogi

PX

Again, I think both you and Yogi make good points. And we can't know the answers here either.

You are definitely a big picture guy. But bringing the focus in closer to a year of SEG stock price, or a quarter...Doesn't this transition or waiting for killer app's with so much capacity on the desktop already, represent a possible stock price bump in the road?
