Interesting article. When investors are not even interested in hearing your story maybe it is time to buy if the company is fundamentally sound and you have a long term time horizon:

"In short, if a turning point is at hand for tech stocks, the investors and analysts who follow them most closely aren't attuned to it yet. What's more, for some companies, investors aren't even interested in keeping tabs.

Take San Jose-based semiconductor-equipment maker Ultratech Stepper Inc. (Nasdaq, UTEK), for example. Only one person -- this columnist -- bothered showing up for a late-afternoon presentation, one of eight the company gave Monday. President and CEO Arthur W. Zafiropoulo supplied the reason why: He's not expecting to see orders pick up until the middle or end of next year."

Other articles are more positive:

"Computer chip sales are expected to rebound next year, rising 9 percent after a dizzying slide this year caused by oversupply and Asian economic turmoil, the Semiconductor Industry Association said Wednesday. . . ''What we're seeing now is the bottom,'' said Jerry Sanders, chairman and chief executive of Advanced Micro Devices and the outgoing chairman of the SIA"
