Unfortunately I am new at going long on Internets but I here is what I look at: float and short interest, plus the overall trend in Internuts that day. Screw fundamentals, product viability or the rest. If lots of folks want to buy, there ain't much to buy and a bunch more folks HAVE to buy some eventually, the price will probably go up. Look for any stock with a float under 4 million and short interest at 25% or better. Did you know that INKT has a float under 3 million and more than half of that is short? Short selling suicide, IMHO.

So I buy small lots, put in a stop-loss 5-10% behind and go have dinner. Last night when I came back, INKT was up 10%. Then I hit the sell button. AOL is the only Internut I plan to hold long-term because the PSR of 11 is incredibly cheap compared to the rest, it did $2.8 billion in sales last year and a huge chunk of E-commerce will go through AOL portals, thanks to all the lemmings who don't know how to navigate the Internet without training wheels. I will keep a stop on AOL at 10% or less behind the closing price. Right now I am up 20 points on my original purchase.

I bought KTEL to hold overnight because that float is even smaller. Plus they managed two good press releases in a short period. How many people here think that happened by accident?

Internet longs may not be as smart as most posters here, but lots of them will soon be stupid and affluent.
