Hi William,

Just thought I would point out something after the following
statement by yourself:

just so you know, nebraska is college football just as the bulls
are nba. every team in the country wants what the huskers have.
swc was one of the worst conferences in the country and nu is
giving them the chance at being something

The big 12 has been in existence for football for 3 years now.
TEXAS won the big 12 championship the first year (remember?).
Now, Texas and A&M have beaten NU this year.(NOTE: this is the
first regular season game for Texas vs. NU). Thanks for all the HELP
in making something out of ourselves.

Steve

William--
I take everything that I hear in Austin regarding horns and the SWC with a grin and a grain of salt.<vbg> as for your comparison of nu to the bulls,it was reasonably accurate, which one has the higher player payroll? <vbg> I do remember when Bobbie Bowden brought fla st up to nebraska early in his tenure, you dont see fla st being invited back. As for kst beating nu, if they dont, they dont get to go to the big dance at the end of the year, they need to make up for those early games against that tough non conference competition.
