Under the FWIW column: I have a friend who started working for Merrill Lynch recently. He works with the strategists in some way. Anyway, at dinner the other night he said they were looking for 2% interest rates. I made a double take and pointed out that not even the most radical CNBC guests had said anything so bold. He said they couldn't report it because it would freak people out. Anyway.... Looked for a Damn Furby (that's how I will refer to them from now on) for my wife's B-day today. No luck. Plenty of 50% off Elmo's though... B.

bobby: Well, I have short-term sell signals on several Indices, but with the INTC earnings news I suspect the Market will pop in the AM. This Market has been great. I love this rollercoaster. If my neck was not bothering me so much I would have been dancing all over my office yesterday...as I was lucky (TA) enough to have taken a sizable position in both EGGS and KTEL the day before. No rime or reason...just internuts and new era investors...I don't understand it, but a few months ago, I decided to stop bitching about it and take advantage of it!
