Chad - Thanks, I forgot to mention the point about looking away for a while. Usually I sit back and watch MSNBC for 5 minutes.

Jarrod

I may not be the right one to be giving advice since many people on this thread have been doing this a lot long than me. My best advice would be to read everything you can get you hands on. For Canadian stocks I would start at the beginning of this thread and start reading. There has been a lot of good information written in the past 1000+ messages. I would then go to the beginning of this links list and start reading. Irby has done a great good job of linking to good day trading sites. If your listening Irby - thanks for the work, it is appreciated.

After that I would paper trade for at least a month before you finally throw your hat (money) in the ring. If you have any questions after reading through the pages I have just mentioned I am sure people on the thread would be happy to help out.

Best Regards
KEITH
