Macconnection iMac Special page 8:

iMac, 96MB SDRAM, extra software package, USB Superdisc Drive w/ 5 free 120MB Discs, and free installation. $1478.95

No package with USB Zip is offered even though the USB Zip drive is listed for purchase in the catalog along with other USB items.

Clearly the choice has been made by iMac buyers. And the clear choice is for a floppy-compatible drive like Imation's Superdisc. This choice however leaves the door wide open for HiFD to come on in and crash the party with its floppy-compatibility too.
